Bongo star, Omary Mwanga, famously known as Marioo, expressed heartfelt gratitude to his girlfriend Paula Kajala's parents following the Baby Shower party held last week.
The "Mi Amor" singer took to his Instagram page to extend his appreciation to Bongo movie actress Fridah Kajala Masanja and her co-parent P-Funk Majani, whom he acknowledged as his future in-laws.
"Thank you, Father and Mother-in-law @majani187 & kajalafrida," Marioo wrote after the baby shower.
The artist accompanied his message with photos of Paula, Kajala, and Mr. Majani, taken during the delightful celebration organized to commemorate the pregnancy.
Actress Kajala and her co-parent, whom she separated from nearly two decades ago, were among the guests who graced Marioo and Paula's event.
Responding to the singer's gratitude message, Paula's mother assured her future son-in-law of her affection. "We love you," she wrote.
Mr. Majani also replied to the Bongo star, assuring him that everything was fine. "Welcome, no worries, son," he said.
During the Friday event, Paula's mother took the opportunity to apologize to her daughter's father.
She confirmed that they had not been on good terms for a while and that they had blocked each other everywhere online and on their phones.
"There were many things going on, and he didn't like them as a father, and I knew very well that there were things I was doing wrong, so I had to apologize as a mother, as long as everything is okay for our daughter," Kajala said.
Furthermore, besides apologizing to her co-parent, Kajala congratulated her ex-husband's new wife for being the bridge of reconciliation between her and P-Funk.
Kajala concluded by praising P-Funk Majani and saying that he is a good father to their daughter while embracing him and asking for forgiveness for all the past misunderstandings between them.
