Former Kenyan musician turned Pastor Lovy Elias Logomba, widely known as Prophet Lovy, has shared a cryptic message detailing the challenges he has faced since transitioning from secular music to gospel ministry.

Residing in the US, Prophet Lovy expressed lamentation over individuals attempting to tarnish his reputation and discourage his gospel service.

He disclosed how disappointing it was to discover that even those he admired and considered "heroes of faith" were misusing his name for their own gain.

"In my few years of serving the Lord Jesus Christ, I have come to understand that even those whom you look up to, your heroes of faith, including fathers, can quickly try to tarnish you for clicks and likes in this day and age," he remarked.

Despite the negativity directed towards him, Prophet Lovy emphasised his refusal to stoop to their level, asserting that his principle was never to retaliate with evil.

He urged others to love and honor those who wronged them, acknowledging their humanity and capacity for mistakes.

"Nevertheless, love them and honour them, remembering they are only human and are not beyond mistakes. Never repay evil with evil, but rather let love always lead the way, or else you become like them in your season," he stated.

Having relocated to the USA with his late brother Christian Logomba years ago, Lovy has collaborated with renowned international artists such as Iggy Azalea, Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, K Michelle, and Tinie Tempah. Remarkably, he embarked on his Christian journey a decade ago before transitioning into church leadership.

A week ago, Prophet Lovy announced his musical comeback, showcasing an impressive burst of productivity by producing and releasing ten songs in just four days.

He credited his studio success to his desire to honor his late brother, his wife's support, and God's guidance.
