The Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) was abuzz with excitement and glamour as the Kenyan film industry came together to honor excellence at the Kalasha Awards Gala Dinner on March 30th, 2024.

The prestigious event, now in its 13TH edition, showcased the best of Kenyan cinema and celebrated the remarkable achievements of filmmakers, actors, and industry professionals.

Among the highlights of the evening were the highly anticipated Viewers' Choice Awards, which recognized the films that resonated most with audiences across the nation.

The winners of these awards, determined by popular vote, exemplify the power of storytelling to captivate and inspire audiences of all ages

Hon. Ababu Namwamba, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Sports, Youth Affairs, and the Arts, praised the event, stating, "The Kalasha Awards Gala Dinner serves as a testament to the remarkable talent and creativity that defines Kenya's film industry. Tonight, we celebrate not only the achievements of our filmmakers but also the cultural richness and diversity of our nation.
