It is Throwback Thursday and renowned media personality, author, and human rights activist Janet Mbugua fully understood the assignment! And is serving us tantalizing hot throwbacks.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the mother of 2 shared photos from a cover magazine shoot that she had done back in her early days when she was "more carefree and bold, living large," as she puts it.

In one of the photos, Janet could be seen dressed in a jungle t-shirt, low-cut jeans, the famous humongous 20's belts that were paired with anything and everything as well as huge sunglasses resting on her hair while leaning on a bike.

The photo looked steamy with an unidentified Asian-looking man leaning on top of her as the two appeared ready to elope. In the cover photo, they appeared to be in an industry area.

In another file, she could be seen in a black leather jacket on top of a pitch black dirt motorbike giving the camera person her best bad girl pose.

Captioning the photos, the mother of 2 revealed the photos were taken back in 2007.

"Once upon a time, I was young, wild, free, channeling my inner Biker Girl, while posing with Biker Boys for Adam Magazine Ultimate #tbt

Circa 2007 Reminder c/o @Brian Babu," candidly wrote Janet.

Since late last year, the author has been sharing tidbits of her past life entertaining her fans with details of her life before the glamour, fame, and composure that comes with aging gracefully.

About 6 months ago, she shared a few love poems she had written for her ex-boyfriend back in the day marveling at the fact that she was such a hopeless romantic.
