Shakib Cham, husband to Zari Hassan has spoken up a day after it was revealed that he did an interview with Zari's enemy number one, Mange Kimambi.
Kimambi is a Tanzanian-American-based gossip blogger who does not see eye to eye with Zari. After leaving South Africa for Uganda, Shakib granted Kimambi an interview which has been aired on her app.
This left fans in shock as many believed that that was a form of betrayal to his wife.
In a video where Shakib is speaking in Luganda, he revealed that he was approached by someone who offered to pay him $1,000 (Ksh 146,000) for an interview.
Shakib said he gave the journalist an interview without knowing that she was connected with his wife's enemies. He added that he does not know who his wife's enemies are.
He said he granted the interview to speak out after Zari was seen holding her ex-lover and baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz's hands.
He went on to urge fans not to judge him before they listen to the interview.
