The return of Polo festivities at the Nairobi Polo Club for the upcoming weekends, featuring the Soldier's Salute Cup and Chairman's Cup respectively went down over the past weekend.

These eagerly anticipated tournaments, traditionally scheduled for January, were postponed due to inclement weather which rendered the grounds unusable.

The rescheduled events promised to deliver thrilling matches and a vibrant atmosphere, kicking off with the Soldier's Salute Cup on February 17-18.

This year was a collaboration between Tusker Malt and esteemed brands such as Tedd Josiah’s JokaJok Luxury Leather and the equestrian and lifestyle brand Faraji Couture.

The Tusker Malt team took home the trophy after defeating Tanqueray at the Soldier's Salute Cup.

In addition, Kenyans took advantage of the sunny weather and stepped out in style on the day.

Kenyan luxury brand, JokaJok, was also on hand showcasing their wares, and more importantly, the intricate craftsmanship that goes into creating the various pieces that were on display and sale on the day.

Said Jokajok African Luxury Creative Director, Tedd Josiah, speaking on the opportunity: "I was excited when Tusker Malt approached me to embark on this partnership because it was a co-sign from a brand that pushes the boundaries of craftsmanship in another field. Our work and its quality speaks for itself, and I am glad to showcase this here today."

The Soldier's Salute polo tournament marked an exhilarating start to the polo season amidst much anticipation.

The Chairman's Cup, the second installment of the polo festivities, is scheduled to commence on February 24-25, promising another round of thrilling matches and a vibrant atmosphere.

The Tusker brand continues to support a host of Kenyan sports and culture, underscoring its commitment to fostering community and unity through sports. The ongoing partnership with the Nairobi Polo Club exemplifies Tusker's dedication to bringing people together through shared passions.

Tickets for future events can be purchased on the Nairobi Polo Club's Hustlesasa page.
