Robert Burale has sparked contrasting opinions after claiming that many churches today give comedians time to entertain believers at the expense of preaching Jesus-filled sermons.
Through his Facebook page, Israel Robert Burale stated that a lot of entertainment has infiltrated churches, and some comedians use sermon time to amuse believers with inappropriate jokes, sometimes quoting the Bible incorrectly.
"Too much entertainment has entered the church...We should not be giving a comedian 30 minutes session to Crack some vulgar jokes (sometimes using scripture)during the main service ..
People want an encounter with Jesus for various issues. Some of the so called 'gospel music' can make even the devil cringe. They must be called out. The time for superstar pastors and ministers is OVER ...We need to prepare the END TIME ARMY ...and requires hard work and discipline...God bless," said Burale.
The preacher, also well-known for his counseling sessions and encouraging messages to the masses, mentioned that even some individuals identifying themselves as gospel musicians and their music might surprise even Satan himself with their inappropriate messages entering the church.
Burale advised believers and fellow pastors that it is time to separate the wheat from the chaff to build a faithful army for God for the last days.
"Even some gospel music can leave Satan himself wide-eyed. This music must be publicly condemned. We need to prepare an army for the last days... and this requires diligence and obedience," concluded Burale.
