The two tied the knot at an outdoor wedding chapel that seats 30 guests known as Vegas Weddings’ Terrace Gazebo, with Usher’s mother and former longtime manager Jonetta Patton on hand as the couple’s witness, according to People. So the wedding might have been something planned and not a spur of the moment thing.
“We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family.
They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes,” A statement from Usher's reps posted by People Magazine reads.
News of their nuptials comes in just after the Grammy winning artist delivered a 15-minute career-spanning set at Allegiant Stadium which saw him blasting through some of his most iconic hits, which included “Caught Up,” “Burn,” “U Got It Bad,” “Confessions Part II,” and “Love In This Club,” with assistance from fellow artists such as Alicia Keys, Will.i.am, Jermaine Dupri, H.E.R., Ludacris and Lil Jon.
