Comedian Nick Bigfish is in mourning following the untimely demise of his father.
Bigfish shared the sad news via his socials – confessing how hard it is to believe that his father is no more.
“Mzee amesema itakua vizuri akitutangulia. I promised to take you back home walking but I’ll take you back in a box. I failed you. POLE. Rest easy,” read a post from Nick Bigfish.
Following the death announcement, celebrities and fans joined the conversation to send in their condolence messages.
Nick Bigfish’s dad had been in hospital for months and the comedian had severally appealed for financial help to clear his father’s hospital bill.
Last year Nick revealed that his father had a cancerous tumour and he had to undergo surgery.
"A big thank you to everyone who contributed and those still contributing. Your prayers and support have been helpful. The surgery today was successful and Mzee is now in ICU recuperating. I'll get a paybill number tomorrow Inshallah."
