Maina Kageni was sympathising with a caller who opened up about being in an abusive relationship. The host said the cases of men who are abused in relationships are on the rise.

The caller said whenever he reported, he'd be laughed at.

"Alivunjwa mguu akaenda hospitali akareport police station akachekelewa. Second incident he lost his teeth and it was still disregarded, akavunjwa mguu."

Maina asked;

"Where do men go or who do men go to when they are abused by their significant other? What action should men take in such cases?"

Angela Muthoni: GBV is so rampant in both gender and the best thing to do is walk out when you start seeing redflags.This means that you need to empower yourslf long before you get into that marriage, should things go south,you'll walk out without turning back.

Jeniffer Kanyiri: Let any man not tolerate to be abused by a woman,,he can leave that relationship/marriage for his own sake ,if he feel ashamed to report to the authorities

Michael Mich: We keep talking of GBV bt we concentrate mostly on one gender

Bella Ndichu: how do you even love someone who gives you a beating
