Sultana actress Winnie Bwire Ndubi famously known as 'Dida' has recently taken to her account to squash the rumours circulating online about her demise.

The actress has been battling metastatic breast cancer for the last two years now.

In her Instagram post the actress said that she was shocked by the gossip and that she had reported the speculating posts that were circulating the socials as she tagged one of such posts.

Dida assured her fans that she's alive and progressing well in her treatment as she awaits to travel for further specialized treatment.

Winnie also urged her fans not to follow such rumours blindly and before sharing such news they should try and confirm the legitimacy of the rumors first as well as their sources.

"Anyone who knows these people please report them and have them pull this post down. I have reported it but still up. I am very much alive and progressing well on treatment as I await to travel for further specialized treatment hence the fundraiser.

I'm not sure what nincompoop would start such a rumor especially when they don't know me on a personal level nor have they been with me on this journey.
