According to Mrs. Sanura Kassim, also known as Mama Dangote, God has not yet given her son, WCB boss Diamond Platnumz the go-ahead to get married.
She said recently in an interview with Wasafi Media that marriages only take place in accordance with God's will.
"Everything is planned by God. He (Diamond) can push himself, and I can push him, but everything comes from what God commands. God may command you to marry someone, or God may command you to marry this other," Mama Dangote said.
She added that since the person Diamond might marry might not be the one God intended for him to be with, she could not push him to get married.
"He can stay with even a hundred women but God has not ordered him to marry them.
Because God may have ordered that he will marry someone," he said. Mama Diamond pointed out that in the past before marrying Uncle Shamte, she also had many men who did not marry her despite having given birth. It's all God's plan," she said.
In addition, Mama Dangote disclosed that her son has not yet named a spouse, despite several speculations suggesting the musician is in a relationship with Zuchu, also known as Zuhura Othman, the bongo flava queen.
She clarified that as there have been no formal wedding ceremonies, Diamond's purported connection with the WCB female performer is flirty.
"If someone hasn't given a letter, it's just walking. That's called flirting. That (Zuchu) is not a bride, that is just a woman," Mama Dangote said.
She added, "(Diamond) has never brought Zuchu to me because he wants to marry her. I first know Zuchu is his artist.
To say that Zuchu is his fiancé I do not know, because I have not sent a detailed dowry to Zuchu or a letter. Zuchu I know is his artist.
Every day we are with her, I don't know, I know he is an artist. As far as I know, a fiancé is the one to whom you send letters and dowry."
She declined to say whether she approved of the two-star's relationship, stating that they will make that decision.
She added that many other women who have been spotted with her son in the past have accused Zuchu of being their romantic partner, thus she is not the first lady to have this connection.
