It all started on TikTok after a section of Kenyans discovered that Christina Shusho always sings her songs directly from the scriptures.
This built up a conversation and Shusho became a trending topic in Kenya. Many who weighed in, tried as much as possible to express their opinions without offending the woman of God.
Out of curiosity and the need to witness what scriptures sound like when they are performed live on stage- Kenyans demanded to have Christina Shusho for a show in Nairobi.
Churchill listened to them and December 31, 2023, was set as the date for the concert.
Fast forward, Kenyans from all walks of life showed up in numbers for the #ShushaNyavu concert. It was a full house.
The venue was full of thankful individuals who were out to tell God “Thank You” for making us see another year.
The event attracted notable figures among them Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, Teacher Wanjiku, Dufla Diligon, and Frida Mwaka among others.
