Award-winning actor and scriptwriter Abel Mutua is appealing for financial help to accord his younger brother a decent burial.
Mutua used his socials to appeal to well-wishers to contribute towards Raphael Mbuvi Musyoka aka Rapho’s burial.
“Til we meet again little bro. Can’t believe all that football talent will never be appreciated. #RIPRapho,” Abel Mutua captioned a poster shared on his Instagram page.
23-year-old Rapho allegedly took his own life – but the circumstances leading to his death are yet to be made public.
“In this truck lies the lifeless body of a once vibrant young man whose life has been tragically cut short at the tender age of 23. Rest in Peace, my brother. We tried our best but I guess our best wasn’t good enough. Round 2 Brathe. 🕊️🕊️🕊️,” Abel Mutua shared two days ago.
At the same time, Mutua has promised to tell his side of the story after being accused of neglecting his younger brother to the point of taking his own life.
In his statement, Mutia mentioned that his brother has been ill for some time and he is ready to share his (Rapho) story to save someone else.
“Thank you so much Wakurugenzi for the love that you’re sending our way. A good number of you know the truth and you have stood with us since my brother became ill. I’ll tell Rapho’s story because I know it’ll save someone and his death won’t be in vain. See you after the burial,” Mutua shared on Twitter.
