The recent news of Singer Nazizi losing her son has shocked many.

Her last born died on Christmas day after falling off a building during a vacation in Tanzania.

This has shed light on different celebrities silently battling child loss.

Below are celebs who have lost kids.

 Nazizi

Rapper Nazizi is the latest celebrity to lose a child.

In a family statement issued by Nazizi and her close associate Wyre, the young Jazeel passed away on December 25th in Tanzania following an accident at the facility his parents were staying at.

He was later flown to Nairobi and laid to rest on December 26 per his religion.

“It is with profound sorrow and deepest heartache that we confirm the tragic passing of Jazeel, the beloved son of Nazizi Hirji on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2023, in Tanzania. We lost this young soul in an unfortunate accident at a hotel where the family was staying. He was buried earlier today in Nairobi, in accordance with his religion,” read part of the statement.

Nazizi went on to ask the general public and the media to accord her and her family some privacy as they mourn the death of her son.

 Juliana kanyamozi

Keron Raphael Kabugo,  died after succumbing to asthma at the Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi, on July 20, 2014.

Speaking in a recent interview with KTN News, Kanyomozi said she wanted to be a mother again but the trauma took a toll on her.

Kanyomozi has a son named Taj.

She described him as her gift from God.

Davido

Nigerian artist Davido and his partner Chioma lost their son to drowning in 2022.

Baby Ifeanyi drowned in the family pool and was underwater for a while before he was discovered and rushed to the hospital.

He has just celebrated his 3rd birthday.

Christiano Ronaldo

Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and their girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez were expecting twins in 2021.

Sadly in April 2022, they lost their son as they welcomed a daughter. 

"It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our baby boy. It's the greatest pain any parent can feel," the couple wrote on Instagram. 

Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.

We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you."  Announced the couple.

Twani who was to turn 5 years before his death succumbed to complications from sickle cell anemia.

The deceased, who was a second-year Law student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), had been hospitalized for two weeks.

Auntie Jemimah announced that she lost her newborn daughter immediately after birth.

Raburu and his now ex-wife Marya Prude lost their daughter baby Adana in 2020.

 Adana was born after Marya developed complications that led to a stillbirth.

Kambua

Gospel singer and former Citizen TV host Kambua lost her son Malachi Manundu Muthiga Mathu in Feb 2021.

Before then she had suffered a miscarriage which she only, made known to the public in 2023.

Kambua currently has two a son and a daughter.
