As the year draws to an end, comedian Mulamwah has made some major financial steps. He has been saving Sh1,000 a day, and in a video encouraging Kenyans to begin this next year, he said he had managed to put aside sh356,000.

The comedian in a video in his hometown Kitale, stepped out of a mud house with a box that he eventually showed contained Sh365k.

He broke the box using a hammer singing, "Kevo ni player, Brayo ni player she went there, she came back she told me brother I am tired," he sang.

"Challenge completed, 1k daily for 365 days 🤣🤣, tuanze wote next year sasa . inawezekana . cheza ki wewe. Btw MKO ?? See translation."

Kendrick has always been prudent about money and on many occasions said that he spends the least to pay rent in order to save. He was living in a sh9k bedsitter, defending his minimalist culture;

"It's not like we don't love living in a nice house it's just that we want to build and own that mansion first then move inside. there is no need to live in a big house when you are alone. Just live where you are comfortable and invest the rest of the money."

He explained this after Kenyans had weighed in on his photo inside an untidy bedsitter. And for sure he has done just that.

In November 2023, he unveiled using a drone, a huge mansion in Kitale that he has said cost him sh10mil. He has also ever told that he has close to half a million on his phone.

There are several Kenyans on TikTok displaying how disciplined they have been saving money.
