Many Kenyan celebs made the big move of announcing their engagements this year but sadly some of them didn't last.

1.  Amber Ray

The socialite got engaged twice to her beau Kennedy Rapudo.

He proposed the first time when they went on vacation in Dubai, and the second time he went down on his knee was during her baby shower ahead of the birth of their daughter. They are yet to marry

2. Kenyan dancer Klaus proposed to his longtime friend Nasieku

Content creators Klaus and Nasieku released their respective fans with an announcement of their engagement.

The duo has been growing together by leaps and bounds since 2021 on their TikTok channels, where the fan base also grows.

3. Huddah Monroe got 'engaged' to her new Persian boyfriend

The November 14 proposal announcement left Kenyans amazed as the socialite and businesswoman had never indicated she was dating or in love.

The cute picture of her looking surprised, got Kenyans talking and nothing has been heard of the man ever since.

It later turned out that it was a stunt to promote a product she was endorsing.

4. Eric Omondi

Eric Omondi proposed to his girlfriend Lynne back in February as a Valentine's surprise. She said 'Yes'. They now have a daughter together.

5. Weezdom and Mylee Stacey

Weezdom proposed to Mylee in September this year. They have however broken up and deleted pictures of each other from their social media, however, their announcement at the time exited their fans.

6. Prezzo supposedly proposed to then NRG presenter Azeezah.

Prezzo surprised Azeezah Hashim at the NRG studios when he showed up carrying a bouquet of red roses. The rapper went down on his knee to ask for Azzeezah Hashim’s hand in marriage.

An emotional Azzeezah said 'yes' before passionately hugging Prezzo. Prezzo, 43, and Azeezah, 23, got engaged amid cheers from her colleagues, with a guitarist also serenading the lovebirds on their special day.
