2023 saw some Kenyans amaze their fellow citizens with the great acts of philanthropy and humanitarianism.

Some of those wonderful Kenyans are below;

1. Eric Omondi

The President of Comedy has this year been the most generous Kenyan, going all out to help sick, homeless, and jobless Kenayns see a better day.

He fundraised for a young hawker whose peanuts were thrown by the city inspectorate.

Omondi also did an IG fundraiser for a hawker whose smokie business suffered.

In August this year, Eric went live on social media to raise Sh50 million for Kenyans struggling with the cost of living.

Even those arrested during Maandamano have experienced his generous spirit.

5. Mike Sonko

The politician's kind heart extends to the needy in all ways. He even helped a Narok teacher who went viral sewing a student's torn clothes. The teacher had given the girl a shuka to cover her up. The teacher, Joyce Sempela Malit, received praise for her warm gesture. Even Brian Mwenda, the quack lawyer has benefitted from Sonkos philanthropy.

In June he was driving around when he spotted a little girl hawking cookies with her mother. She was cold and he found out they were doing this to settle outstanding fees.

In March he took a needy girl shopping, admitting her to State House Girls. The Machakos student had performed well in KCPE but was unable to join High School owing to a lack of school fees.

He is especially loved by KOT who tag him online when acts of volunteerism are needed. He always heeds their call.

Two weeks ago, he cleared a sh146k bill for a woman held in hospital.

He also paid sh56k for a dad who attempted to smuggle his child out of KNH over a hospital bill.
