Celestine Ndinda Kimani is choosing a very Kenyan way to celebrate her 12 years of marriage to comedian Njugush.

Unlike other celebrities who buy new cars, and luxury trips to mark their anniversaries, Celestine has chosen to cook Njugush a traditional Kikuyu meal as the first gift.

She hilariously commented that she wasn't copying others. "Gift Number one is loading😂😂😂😂. Happy Anniversary Tim😍. God has been soo good to us. Cheers to more years."

She does a pretty impressive job mixing the maize, peas and potatoes to a smooth texture. She took frequent breaks because it is a tough job bending and using her arms with a mwiko.

Even Milly wa Jesus who is also marking six years in marriage was amused at her unique idea using laughing emojis.

The Kimani's are loved by their fans and here is what we know about when they got married. His ring cost him sh2,500.

However, he lost it on set while doing an advert and revealed that the amount he was paid by a brand would buy the same.

Their wedding ceremony was held at Evergreen Gardens in Muthaiga and the best couple was Abel Mutua and Judy Nyawira.

The comedian met Celestine at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) where they were both students.
