Kenyan socialite turned musician Sherlyne Anyango has netizens stunned after she revealed that she and celebrated comedian, actor, and digital content creator DJ Shiti are actually related.

Speaking during a guest appearance she made on Chipukeezy's show the curvaceous brand influencer went on to narrate how when he was younger Shiti would occasionally visit their home but back then she did not know they were related.

"He used to come to our place as a young kid....Shiti is my relative actually," Sherlyne candidly revealed as she let out a slight chuckle.

Chipukeezy could not contain his surprise as he went on to interrogate Sherlyne trying to confirm if she was telling the truth.

"Huyu Shiti mmoja ni relative wako? Huyu Shiti mmoja?" Chipukeezy asked amidst laughter.

Giving more details regarding their relationship and when the two found out they were related the social media sensation noted that her sister was the one who actually revealed to her that the comedian/ actor was their relative.

"He also didn't know he was my relative.... we were both oblivious until my big sister called me aside and was like, don't get too close to Shiti he is your relative," Sherlyne said forcing the host to call back Shiti (who had been on set before Sherlyne for an interview) to the studio.

For his part, the former Real Housewives of Kawangware actor went on to confirm that they were indeed related but he did not know.

"Bro nilikuwa naenda kwao but when we were younger I didn't know we were related because you know they are a mix of Jaluos and Luhyahs. Back then she was so young... seeing her now when she is all grown up and has a glow-up, I didn't know it was her.

When I found out, I had to go and delete all the simp DM's I had sent her... after being told I had to downplay it and be like it's comedy," said DJ Shiti as the audience burst into laughter.

He went on to encourage people to learn about their family members as things can prove a little tricky out here.

"Now your family guys... it is super important. Yes, I had called her we shoot content but wueh..." Shiti said trailing off.
