For the past few days, a Kenyan caregiver named Rosie has gone viral on social media after videos of her bidding goodbye to her employer and his kids went viral online.
In the said videos, Rosie is caught in a moment of our love as she tries to leave Lebanon for Kenya for the Christmas holidays.
The said videos have attracted millions of views and comments - as the emotional farewell touched many.
The kids' tears spoke volumes about the deep and priceless bond they share with Rosie, their caregiver.
One of the people who have been touched by the viral video is the CEO of Expeditions Maasai Safaris.
He is now appealing to well-wishers to help him locate Rosie in Kenya so that he can appreciate her with a fully paid vacation for representing Kenya well and being a good person.
“We're determined to recognize, honor, and reward Rosie’s dedication and for showing the world what Kenyan workers are made of.
Please help me locate her, we would like to gift her a Memorable all-expenses-paid Holiday as a token of our appreciation,” he said.
Across check done by this writer indicates that Rosie was taking care of twins named Maria and Cataleya plus two other kids.
The twins enjoy a huge following on TikTok (1.6 million) and YouTube (1.4 million subscribers).
“When strangers become family, it’s hard to say goodbye,” read a caution on the Twins page when surprising Rosie with a birthday and goodbye cake.
Another caption on the videos read; “Thank You Rosie, your babies at home are so lucky… thank you for taking care of our kids like yours,”.
The employers pleaded with Rosie to go back after the December holidays. One of the videos where Rosie was emotional bidding goodbye to the kids has attracted over 40 million views and over 68K comments.
