Former Kenya 7's rugby player turned TikTok sensation Dennis Ombachi popularly known as Roaming Chef is finishing the year on a high note after his love for food landed him a lucrative partnership deal.

Sharing his win with his fans and followers the father of two took to his socials to announce that he had landed a partnership deal with the Chinese Embassy in Kenya.

On his X (formerly Twitter) account the self taught sensational chef shared a photo of himself and Chinese chef Lui Longfei shaking hands with the Kenyan and Chinese flags behind them at the Chinese embassy. Ombachi went on to gush over how he had been selected to be part of a collaborative effort on food diplomacy that would bring to life “gastronomic experiences” to help enhance international relations between China and Kenya.

“I will be collaborating with the Chinese Embassy in Kenya on food diplomacy involving cultural exchange, culinary partnerships & joint initiatives promoting global understanding through shared gastronomic experiences.

Meet Chinese Chef Lui Longfei who we shall be partnering together building up to the Chinese Food Extravaganza happening on the 2nd of December at the Panari Hotel.

Humbled by this opportunity to foster international relations between China 🇨🇳 and Kenya 🇰🇪 in appreciation of the diverse cuisines and culture,” Ombachi's post read.

Fans could not hide their joy following the news as they flocked the comment section to congratulate the former rugby player while others took the opportunity to lightly troll Ombachi due to the sheer fact that Asians are known to eat a lot of unconventional foodstuffs and animals.
