Kenyan rapper Prezzo has explained how his relationship with the late Big Brother Goldie started.
Born Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey, died aged 31.
Appearing on Iko Nini Podcast, Prezzo says everything started as a joke.
"In the beginning it was games but 90 days is a long time.
We became fond of each other but God loved her most (she passed away.)
I thank Big Brother because if it were not for them we could not have met them."
In February 2013, Goldie who was then 31 had complained of a severe headache shortly after returning to Nigeria from the US where she had attended the music industry's Grammy Awards.
The star was rushed to a hospital in Lagos, where she was pronounced dead.
An autopsy revealed the musician died of ‘hypertensive heart disease’ which triggered ’ intracerebellar hemorrhage.’
The autopsy, done on February 19, 2013, was signed by Dr. O.O Oyewole of the Department of PatAn autopsy.
The revelation put an end to speculations that the musician died of doping complications,
Both Goldie and Prezzo were participants in Big Brother Africa in 2013.
The show began on 26 May 2013, running for 91 days, and ended on 25 August 2013.
