Director Trevor, Mungai Eve's lover has spoken about his plans to officially marry the famous Kenyan content producer.
In a telephone interview with a local radio station, the video director whose real name is Bonventure Monyancha revealed that he has already introduced Eve to his family.
"Brother-in-law arrives home. Everything there will be done," Director Trevor said. However, he admitted that he has not yet paid the dowry to the family of the 23-year-old beauty.
While explaining why he has not yet taken that step, Trevor said that he is still collecting enough money before taking the step of negotiating with Eve's family.
"Still, I'm still looking for money, you know his money is like millions," he said. The director revealed that he plans to give a dowry of about ten million to fifteen million Kenyan shillings.
"You know that every year the dowry increases. I will pay about 10-15 million. If it comes two years from now, it will be about 15," he said.
He also made it clear that he has already decided to settle down with the 23-year-old content producer explaining that she is the only one his heart wants.
Regarding marriage plans, he said they would make their union official after he paid all the dowry. "The wedding is after paying the dowry," he said.
Director Trevor and Mungai Eve celebrated five years together earlier this year.
As she celebrated the milestone in January, Eve penned a sweet note to her boyfriend expressing her gratitude for their love, from their humble beginnings to their current status as living lovers.
"Thank you for being a blessing in my life and giving me the friendship I have needed all my life," Eve wrote. Eve also celebrated Trevor for pushing her into her current career, where they are now getting a lot of money.
"We have had our ups and downs but we have stood the test of time, I pray for love that lasts a lifetime and friendship that never ends.
I always thank God for bringing you into my life, you are my best blessing and success, thank you for always supporting me, believing in me, and pushing me hard to be the best version of me. I love you today and forever," she wrote.
