General admission fans and VIP fans will now enjoy Koffi Olomide's concert together on December 9.

Originally, Olomide was scheduled to perform two different shows, the one for VIPs only scheduled for December 8 while the one for fans scheduled for December 9.

But now the organizers of the big Rhumba party have made some changes by combining both shows to be held on the same day.

Koffi's show will be held at the ASK Dome Showground Jamhuri on Ng'ong Road in Nairobi, just as previously scheduled.

Also of note is the fact that Early bird tickets have already sold out, showing the eagerness of many fans to attend the once-in-a-lifetime concert.

"After careful consideration and improving the overall experience for our audience, we have decided to combine VIP and fan shows into one interesting event.

The new date for the joint show is Saturday, 9 December 2023, and the venue remains the ASK Dome @ Show Ground,” part of the organizers' statement read.

The arrival of Koffi in the country has been described as unique and is eagerly awaited by his fans, as he has not been in the country for more than 5 years.

Two weeks ago, Koffi made a video on his Facebook page and confirmed his arrival, saying that his main goal is to show his Kenyan fans whom he recognizes as 'my brothers' how much he loves them at the show.

"Mopao is coming to Nairobi on the 8th and 9th of December. It will be hot, I will be returning to Kenya after many years. I missed them for a long time. I want to show you the depth of my love," Koffi said in the clip.
