Hillsong London in Kenya ahead of their Saturday performance at Carnivore

Hillsong London Worship is in Kenya for a concert on Saturday at the Carnivore grounds. The worship group which is excited to be in Kenya for the first time described the upcoming event as a night of worship.

"Our hope is that people come ready to worship God because we are prepared, we rehearsed , all the details are coming together, we want it to be something fresh on the night," said a group's representative, Jay Cook

He added;

"This is our first time in Kenya and we are so excited to be here. We are going to be performing lots of songs. Come have fun and be part of the night."

The group says they pair with The Holy Spirit to produce music that speaks to many souls "Music is one of the most powerful ways that we can share the gospel."

Asked his opinion on the world going more secular, he said "The word of the gospel speaks for itself. There's a lot happening in the world but we are seeing the help that we experience in the help of Jesus. "

Other singers that will perform at the event include Eswatini's Msandi Kababa from Eswaitni and our very own Alice Kimanzi, Pitson, Moji Shortbaba, Jabidii, Didiman, Karura Voices and Timeless Noel.
