Video director J Blessing has broken his silence after his baby mama and singer Avril accused him of domestic violence.

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, J Blessing acknowledged that it's true they had an altercation in public but it did not involve violence.

“Yes, we had an altercation in public, but it did not involve beatings as insinuated. I do not support or endorse any form of violence,” J Blessing told Mpasho exclusively.

In another length Insta-Story post, J Blessing contradicted himself – admitting that about a year ago, they had a physical altercation where they were both hurt.

He mentioned that he had to rush Avril to the Hospital after the incident.

“I sincerely apologize for any harm I have caused Avril or any other person. I am not innocent, but I would like to clarify a few things. About a year ago, we had a physical altercation where we both got hurt and on that day, I immediately took her to the hospital at Agahkan. I take full responsibility for that moment of weakness: One of the pictures she posted is from that incident,” he said in part.

He went on to announce their breakup indirectly saying "Avril and I have agreed that it is Best for both of us to stay away from each other".

“Last night, there was a situation that led to an altercation, but it was not a beating as suggested. I want to assure everyone that I did not beat her. I am not an abuser, and I do not support violence. I am a human being who has made mistakes in my life. Avril and I have agreed that it is Best for both of us to stay away from each other to prevent such incidents from happening again,”.

In a separate post, Judith Nyambura Mwangi alias Avril urged her social media followers to forgive her lover J Blessing after the producer allegedly battered her.

The mother of one said she has forgiven the celebrated video producer adding that everyone is deserving of forgiveness in this life.

"My heart is so heavy that I had to tell my world my business, I forgive you J, please find it in your heart to forgive him too," she said.

She acknowledged that their seven-year relationship with J Blessing has faced challenges, adding there have been conflicts that escalated into fights.

"We recognise the need for change and are committed to seeking help and learning healthier ways to communicate and resolve issues," she added.

"Our mutual goal is to create a more positive and supportive environment for each other fostering understanding and growth."

The singer added that she is a private person and would never talk about anything she is going through even if she is being tortured by it.

"Yes I saw the radicules about me deserving of everything I have gone through in my lifetime and I am sure there will be more ridicule. But I also saw the outpouring messages of love and support," she continued.

In an additional post, Avril noted that she is not chasing clout with her posts or seeking sympathy.

"This is just me being human and deeply understanding that everyone is deserving of humanity, especially in these times where we should all be kind to one another regardless of whether you receive kindness or not."

Early morning on Tuesday, Avril had posted a picture of herself with bruises and a bandage on her face, captioning it: 'J Blessing nikome'

Social media went a buzz, as they were condemning the alleged battering, sending messages of support to the singer.
