James Stephen Donaldson formally known as Mr. Beast is an American YouTuber whose videos are known for tempting and completing difficult challenges, giving away money, and expensive stunts.
The famous YouTuber was born on May 7, 1998, and grew up in Greenville, North Carolina.
At only 25 years old he is ranked as the most subscribed individual worldwide on the platform with over 207 million subscribers and ranked second overall.
That is not all, in 2022 he was ranked as the highest-paid YouTube creator at Forbes. He began his YouTube channel in 2012, that is when he started posting his videos.
He went viral in 2017 after his "counting to 100,000" video earned tens of thousands of views in just a few days, and he has become increasingly popular ever since, with most of his videos gaining tens of millions of views.
After some time his channel made it big and he is a person who never forgets his roots, he hired some of his childhood friends to help him co-run the channel.
As we speak in 2023, Mr. Beast's team is made up of over 250 people and he is still the highest-paid YouTuber with an estimated net worth of $500 million.
Mr. Beast is not only on the YouTube fields he is actually the founder of MrBeast Burger and Feastables; and a co-creator of Team Trees, a fundraiser for the Arbor Day Foundation that has raised over $23 million, and Team Seas, a fundraiser for Ocean Conservancy and The Ocean Cleanup that has raised over $30 million.
His amazing works have earned him so many awards including the Content Creator of the Year for the Streamy Awards for four consecutive years, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. He has won the Favorite Male Creator award twice at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in 2022 and 2023. In 2023, Time also named him as one of the world's 100 most influential people.
Mr. Beast is also featured in the Guinness World Book of Records as the Highest-earning YouTube contributor in 2021, then for the Largest vegetarian burger in 2022, and finally in 2023 he was the first person to reach a million followers on threads.
There is one more thing about Mr. Beast that has made people fall in love with him for him being a person who gives back to society. He transformed his small village in Greenville into a better place.
His employees in his projects are people from his town and has built over three companies in the area. He has even extended his helping hand to Africa where he is set to dig 100 wells around the continent while 52 of them are done in Kenya with a bonus of a bridge.
