• Apart from him being involved with legal issues he has songs that have made headlines and have been featured in the Billboard Charts Hot 100.

Daniel Hernandez alias Tekashi 6ix9ine is an American rapper who has been in jail and prisons not because he is visiting but due to his legal issues.

He has been accused many times on other charges he was proven guilty and others innocent.

Here are some of the different times he has been arrested;

 

1. Assaulting 2 music producers.

This is the most current arrest that he has faced. On Sunday, October 15 in the Dominican Republic, he was arrested after he was accused of beating up two music producers.

It is said that he attacked the producers with other five people. The attack is said to be caused by jealousy when they allegedly spent time with his new girlfriend.

From the news outlets, his attorney said that he surrendered himself in which he was later released on Thursday, October 26th.

2. Child Sexual Performance.

In 2015 he was charged with child sexual performance where he pleaded guilty and was given a 4 years probation.

He was charged with 3 counts of offense where he came into contact with a 13-year-old girl. He later shared the posts in a music video revealing the girl's nudeness while his thighs thriving motion, while he was smacking her on her bottoms.

In 2017 in an interview, he claimed to be not involved with it for he was 17 at the time. His plea was heard to obtain his GED and he refrained from posting any sexual videos and violent content about women and children.

He also did community service as a form of punishment.

3. Mall choking incident.

In 2018 he was accused of choking a 16-year-old boy at a shopping mall. He was arrested under a warrant in New York.

 

He was not charged after the boy allegedly said he did not want to take any legal action.

4. Domestic violence and Sexual assault

His ex-girlfriend band the mother of his daughter, Sara Molina said that he had been beating her up for the past seven years that they had been together.

There is a time that he assaulted her leaving her with a swollen face that she could barely open her eyes. In another interview, he admitted that he was a sex addict which directs us to where Sara confessed that he sexually abused her in the morning after he had beaten her for 2 hours straight the previous night.

He admitted to the accusations in New York Times Magazine.

5. Nine Trey gangster's trial.

He was accused of being in a group called 9 Trey Gangsters which was violent, murder and armed robbery.

On February 1, 2019, Hernandez pled guilty to nine charges. He was due to be sentenced on January 24, 2020, and faced a possible mandatory sentence of 47 years in prison. 

He pleaded a deal for his sentence to be reduced after he snitched on the involved individuals. He was later given a 2-year sentence.

In 2020 while serving his time he pleaded to finish his sentence at home in avoidance of contracting covid 19 due to his existing asthma condition which he was granted.

6. Chief Kiss shooting

In 2018 he pled guilty to ordering the Chief Kiss shooting which happened outside the W Hotel in New York City.

Even though there were no injuries or hits he said to have paid $20,000 to his associates to conduct the shootings.
