Whenever you hear "another banger" you just know Rema is in the house with his amazing music and talented voice.

Rema has really hacked this banger thing. Since Homeboy's debut he hasn't disappointed, he has been dropping hit songs.

Every time he says another banger it’s another huge banger, clearly he’s the greatest African artist of all time.

If you are a true music lover and have knowledge of music you'll agree that Rema has a deep understanding of minor melody and he does it effortlessly. He is always in control of his sound direction.

Divine Ikubor famously known as Rema is a professional songwriter, musician and rapper. He  started his music career back in 2019 when he dropped his first song " Dumebi"

He has won a total of twelve awards since he started singing. His very first award was in 2019 where he won a Headies and City People Music award.

Don Jazzy was the man who discovered his talent and gave light to what we come to know as the king of Afrobeat Rema back in 2019  and signed him under his record company Mavin Records.

His first song currently has 70 million views on YouTube.

In September 2020 his fan base grew even bigger when his songs were included on the FIFA 21 PlayStation game.

While still establishing his career he decided to pay a visit to our Indian brothers"  Bhai" and ion corporate their music into his.

In May 2021, he expanded his network and shifted to Afrorave which was a subgenre of Afrobeats with influencers of Indian and Arabian music.

In September still the same year, he became the brand ambassador for Pepsi alongside his label mate Arya Starr.

Looks like the payroll wasn't enough for our star since he decided to sing about Fanta the following year

Talk about the betrayal on Pepsi's face when they heard Rema mention sweet as Fanta in his hit song "Calm Down".

Clearly, as the name of the song says, Pepsi should just calm down and let Fanta enjoy the spotlight.

On 7th November 2022, he received an award during the London concert as his song "Calm Down achieved 1 billion streams worldwide.

His song Calm Down broke the record as the first song to spend one year on the  US Billboard Afrobeat charts and its YouTube video, with 673 million views.
