Sanaipei Tande's dad Mzee Lemaiyan was on Thursday laid to rest.

What was quick to note was how lovingly Sanaipei eulogized the love of her life.

For a woman who has kept her family away from the limelight, Sanaipei was her father's daughter.

Being an only girl, she was her dad's princess. The singer eulogized her dad reminiscing on the fond memories they shared.

"Whenever you woke up at 4 a.m. to prepare tea, you always left some for her. We loved Nyama Choma; kidney and liver were just for you and me.

You reassured me that all was well.”

She recalled their love for soul music and Congolese Rhumba.

"You and I have shared much in the last 46 years, my love. We enjoyed being together, talking, joking, and laughing so much that people often thought we were just friends.

You were my pillar and strength. I will miss you, my love. But I know the spirits are always around, and you are always with us.”

Mzee Manasseh Lemaiyian Tande, was laid to rest in Matasia, Kajiado.

According to an obituary by his family, Mzee Lemaiyian died on Friday, October 13 after a brief illness.
