Beautiful singer Vivian has opened up about her marriage to businessman and content creator Sam West. Sam West affected her. The two were together for less than 5 years and parted ways in 2022.
The mom of one revealed a lot during her interview on Iko Nini's YouTube channel and explained how unprepared she was for marriage when she got betrothed to the comedian.
"I had told him (about settling down) because a friend had hinted to me, but I felt that there were things we needed to still do together and know each other."
She added that a couple needs to be on the same page and that there were many things the two had not discussed before they decided to enter marriage.
The Chum Chum singer admitted that she and Sam were already intimate when decided to propose on live television back in 2017 before moving in together after their marriage.
"We were living in different counties and would stay in each other's house whenever we visited each other. Things were still getting in position. He left Nakuru and joined me in Nairobi," she said.
The proposal affair left her feeling hijacked as she was a celebrity and she said that she would never agree for that to happen again.
"You look like the prize. Who is going to get you first? I feel that was part of it, but then naingalia tuu kama shule (It was like a lesson). If someone proposes to me on TV now, I would say no. Let Kenyans rant for three days if they want to, but the minute I would say no, I will then walk away," she said.
Before their split, the couple was admired by many because of their blended family. Sam West had a son from a previous union while Vivian had a daughter.
