Nigerian singer Davido and his wife Chef Chioma are rumoured to have welcomed fraternal twins. Rumours have it that their names are Obo Jnr and Chioma Jnr.

The rumours were stirred by Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo who congratulated the couple on social media.

“Congratulations, @thechefchi & @davido, on your jewels of inestimable values. God’s protection, provision, and happiness forever.”

Popular Nigerian journalist Kemi Talks also confirmed the news to her followers.

"'They (twins) weighed approximately five pounds each. Very healthy. Chioma has been on bed rest for the past 90 days. The babies were born by Cesarean section at 38 weeks," Kemi Talks tweeted.

The alleged twins are said to have been born at an Atlanta-based hospital called Grady. Responding to the rumours, Davido did not deny nor confirm but said the photos that were being circulated were not recent.

"Stop spreading old pictures, thank you."

Mid this year, Davido confirmed in an interview that he had tied the knot with his long term girlfriend Chioma.

"Before I went on break, I actually had an album ready. I had it all ready, but we redid the album. I travelled, and I am married. A lot of different things, but we are ready to get back on the road.

“I have had a lot to think about, time to rest, reflect on a lot of family time. Time to make music again."
