Queen of Bongo Flava Zuhura Othman aka Zuchu has made it clear that there is no conflict between her and her mother-in-law Sanura Kassim aka Mama Dangote.
Speaking in an interview with Wasafi Media, the artist born in Zanzibar revealed that her relationship with Mama Dangote is still good despite the many claims of conflict between them on social media.
She revealed that she has been in close contact with Mama Dangote and hinted that she has not seen any change in their relationship.
"We are good. I talked to him about the plans to celebrate Simba's birthday. As a family, you have to involve the mother. What did we discuss, that is, we are fine. Those are just things on the internet, but we are fine. There is no problem that I know of," Zuchu said.
The daughter of Taarab great Khadija Kopa pointed out that Mama Dangote receiving gifts from Tanasha Donna and Diamond's mother allegedly unfollowing her on Instagram did not mean any problem between them.
"All of us as Wasafis are family. That is our mother and there is nothing wrong. Only networks like things but we are talking. We are good," she said.
While talking about her relationship with the WCB boss, Zuchu admitted that she is not sure if it will lead to marriage as it may be a temporary union.
Rumours of conflict between Mama Dangote and Zuchu surfaced at the end of last month after Diamond's mother allegedly unfollowed her on Instagram.
Mama Dangote was also claimed to agree with the opinion of a fan who suggested Diamond should reconcile with Tanasha and fire Zuchu.
While responding to the allegations, Mama Dangote made it clear that she had not followed or unfollowed anyone on Instagram in recent days.
Diamond's mother pleaded with netizens to avoid getting her into a fight with Zuchu while mentioning the queen of Zanzibar as her daughter.
