Sylvia Saru aka Ssaru wa Manyaru is a Kenyan rapper who is known for amazing rapping skills at a very young age.
She has received a lot of praise for the way she writes her lyrics to the way she delivers them and is considered one of the biggest Gengetone rappers, they call her the 'Queen of Gengetone.'
Ssaru was born in Mbololo in Taita Taveta on May 19th, 2002 when later they moved to Nairobi Kayole where she was raised.
The skilled rapper likes to put her family in private. She doesn't talk or post much about them but she has spoken about her studies.
She says that she attended a local primary school and luckily attended Bura Girls High School in Voi where she completed her studies in 2018.

She started singing at the age of 18. In 2019 that's when she debuted in the music career-wise when she released her first full-length Nyama.

The rapper has attracted many music distributors like Spotify and Apple Music she was even featured on Paris Billboard Spotify.
Ssaru has been nominated in big awards like Afrimma together with Fena Gitu and Nadia Mukami. She is currently trending on X due to her upcoming performance in Tucker's October Fest.
