Content creator Tom Daktari has opened up on how he monetizes his viral tiktok videos.
In an interview with Mwende Macharia, He says his video are loved and criticized in equal measures.
" I charge people to use my sounds to promote their businesses.
I create tailor made sounds for people to use in their company."
How does he feel about his videos being used everywhere by people to market their businesses without paying for it?
"There is nothing I can do because they are using it to help themselves.
If someone wants me to create a special video for their business, I tailor make one for them at a cost.
You do not have to use what is already online."
Unknown to many Tom is the founder of the Wamusyi Show that mainly features Kamba comedians.

"Si vizuri. Lakini kuna watu wanaitumia vibaya. Some people stumble upon fame and it corrupts their minds.
They create dirty content and assume that is what people want.
Dirty content has no place in society. It is short lived,”
