Charles Joseph is a veteran actor, writer and director who happened to be engaged to the former BBC presenter Ciru Muriuki.

Charles Joseph Onyango Ouda is a Kenyan actor, writer, director, singer, TV host, voice-over artist and the fiance to former BBC presenter Ciru Muruiki.

For those born in the 90's Ouda was a face to reckon with as he acted on the famous show Makutano Junction.

Ouda started working professionally back in 2002.

He has appeared in theatres in many films including ' Boy Gets Girl'( Acted as Tony), 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat', 'Balm in Gilead', 'Andrew Lippa's 'Wild Party', 'The Iron Heel' and Out of Africa: Journey through Magical Kenya.'

In some of the TV and film shows he's appeared in his famous series Makutano Junction in which he was the leading star for over 12 episodes and he even wrote some episodes for the show. 

One of his written episodes at Makutano Junction was awarded the World Media Award for Education back in 2010.

Charles is a director who has earned recognition for his work. He directed the film 'Who Are You?' which won the 2016 Asian American Film Lab's 72 Hour Shoot Out Judges Choice award, as well as Best Director at the Film Lab Awards. Charles also wrote and directed the film 'Waiting Room',.

Other than being an amazing actor and director, he is also an excellent TV host and even won an award to prove it.

He alongside his co-host Sarah Hassan won the Kalasha International Award for Best Television Host.

 Charles took some time away from his busy career to complete his 2 Year Conservatory Program at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.
