Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba famously known by his stage name MohBad or Imole was announced dead yesterday by his family and his management.
He was born on 8th June 1996 and died on 12th September 2023. The songwriter died at a very young age of 27 and the cause of death was cited as an ear infection.
MohBad was a song Nigerian rapper, singer, rapper and songwriter from Lagos who formerly worked for the Naira Marley's Marlian record company but left the company in 2021.
He is known for his songs "Ponmo, Feel Good and KPK (Ko Por Ke)" with Rexxie which was nominated three times for the Headies Awards2022.
The musician started his career as a sensational cover artist. He used to record himself and share his recorded videos on Instagram before Marlian Records decided to uplift his career in 2019.
In 2020 he rose to international prominence after a collaboration with producer Rexxie on their song Ko Po Ke.
The song featured in many Afrobeats and Street Pop charts which made him a sensational musician that people began to love.
MohBad decided to leave Marlian Records because of cases of domestic violence from its owner Naira Marley after he decided to change his manager which the record company didn't like as his previous manager was a brother to the record company owner.
