Kanumba's mum meets Elizabeth Michael, the actress charged with his death

Tanzanian actress Elizabeth Micheal has met his ex boyfriend's mother.

Steven Kanumba was a favourite Bongo movie actor who was loved by many but died after an alleged altercation with his then girlfriend Elizabeth Micheal.

Micheal was jailed for manslaughter and put behind bars for years.

For many years now, Kanumba's mother has been blaming the actress for her son's death. The two have never seen eye to eye and for the first time, they made headlines after meeting for the first time and sharing an emotional moment together.

"Its been a long time, we have not seen each other for a long time," said Elizabeth

Asked whether they had patched things, she said;

"We thank God."

Elizabeth Micheal was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced two years in prison in November 2017 after Kanumba's death which happened in 2012.

Kanumba was said to have died after experiencing a head injury at his bedroom after an alleged altercation with Elizabeth.

She said she was defending herself from the late actor who slid and hit his head.
