For the past nine months, we've had various celebrities either breaking up or ending their long-term marriages.

In less than two months we've seen and heard of four different divorce cases from very happy celebrity couples.

Some of the reasons that lead to divorce are either cases of infidelity or people getting tired of the other partner and deciding to call it quits. 

Divorce has become very common and the process is simpler this could be a reason why there are increase in divorce cases.

Below are some International celebrities who gave up on married life and called it quits and some of the reasons they decided to part ways.

1. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner

Joe one of the Jonas brothers' singers yesterday made a press statement with his former wife about their joint decision to get a divorce. The couple decided to call it quits after spending four years in their marriage.

There are allegations that Sophie's behaviour and a viral of her partying days is the main reason for the divorce. 

2. Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez.

After a grand wedding at Grande's Montecito home and staying for only two years in the marriage. the couple called it quits in July.

The musician's busy schedule overseas was the main reason that led to the divorce.

3. Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef

The gay couple decided to call their 6-year marriage and gave birth to two children Lucia and Renn decided to call their marriage because of "irreconcilable differences."

The duo decided to co-parent their children after finding marriage life intolerable.

4. Britney Spears and Sam Asghari

Sam and Britney decided to end their 14-month marriage after cheating rumours. Sam accused Britnaey of cheating but the old school musician remained adamant she didn't cheat. 

Sam ended up missing out on a multi-million dollar payroll since he divorced her before the two years of their prenup was complete.

5. Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello 

The couple ended their seven years of marriage stating that their different attitudes were the main reason that led to their divorce.

The ex-couple ended their marriage in July. Adding that their marriage ended because they were both different and polar opposites that's why their tried marriage didn't work out.
