Kenyan 'rapper' Stevo Simple now says Vera slid into her DM's but he never responded
He says the socialite is like a sister to him hence he can't date her.
"Vera is my sister. There was a time she inboxed me, but I didn’t respond to her. She wanted us to meet and see if we could do business,” he said.
In an interview with Maradio FM, Stivo argued that the highly publicized split was not genuine and was simply a calculated move for business promotion.
“People should know, and I would like to disclose that there are some gimmicks for business. In this breakup story, I can say it’s all about business. They are still together and I am sure about it,” he said.
Vera Sidika recently broke up with her baby daddy Brown Mauzo.
Taking to his socials Mauzo announced they had chosen to focus on their lives as individuals.
“Dear friends and supporters, I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. After much consideration, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways.
“Our journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments, but we have reached a point where it's best for both of us and our babies, Asia Brown and Ice Brown, to move forward separately,” Brown Mauzo said.
Vera confirmed the same.
