Late AKA's daughter Kairo Forbes broke down in tears over the weekend after performing her father's song in front of a crowd. 

Her mother DJ Zinhle took to social media to reveal that her daughter misses her dad.

"After bravely performing her dad’s song in front of thousands of people, my 8-year-old broke down crying saying she just misses her daddy & wishes he was here. Actually, Kairo tries a lot to suppress her feelings and this is one of the few times I’ve seen her cry like that…"

Adding "This is happening while @thando_thabethe is announcing me for my performance. @nadianakai is so brave, she took over as I walked onto the stage crying & heart broken..Halfway into my first song, @kairo.forbes was standing next me - check the last slide. You can see that she literally wiped her tears and stood bravely next to me.I am so proud of her but I wish she didn’t need to be so brave. I just wish she still had her dad.#stoptheviolence."

Kairo is daughter to DJ Zinhle and late South African rapper AKA who was shot to death in March this year. AKA was having fun with his friends at Wish Restaurant in Durban where he was shot just outisde the restaurant. 

The rapper was shot in the head at close range a few seconds after hugging his friend Tebello Motsoane who was also killed during the shooting.
