Sauti Sol Band member Bien-Aime Baraza has advised Eric Omondi to go back to comedy. The singer argues that Omondi has been beefing with Kenyan musicians for too long and it's time he goes back to his craft.

He said this during an interview with the YouTuber Eve Mungai after she pointed out how the comedian has diverted his attention from comedy and now doing activism and charity work.

The comedian is planning to fundraise money for the needy by going live on Instagram for 4 days. The money to be raised is a total of Sh50 million.

The Sauti Sol member says that people miss "Eric Omondi the comedian and how he used to make them laugh".

"Tuchekeshe pia Erico, The grace that put you there is the grace that keeps you there. I would advise him asiachane na comedy, we miss the humor he was bringing to the table," Bien said.

The star also pointed out how Eric was being bashed about his comedy content with allegations that he has been repeating his jokes over and over again.

Asked about his opinion on Omondi's career, the singer said that the last time he saw the comedian do a proper comedy a show was long time ago.

He says that what Eric has been doing recently is discriminating against Kenyan musicians while pretending to be helping them.

The 'Mbwe mbwe' hitmaker also revealed that he was the one who allowed Eric to enter the Harmonize's concert, days after banning him.

He disclosed that Harmonize had threatened not to perform if Omondi was allowed to the concert. He was allowed in on condition that he behaves.

The interviewer also asked if Bien would allow Eric to attend the upcoming Soul Festival;

 "We will if he buys tickets like any other fan," Bien continued.

Bien also lauded Eric Omondi on the fundraisers he has been doing online to help the needy. He points out that he is willing to support the course but Omondi should be careful when handling public money.
