During the Morning Show at Classic 105, Mike Mondo and Mwalimu King'ang'i had a fascinating conversation about rumors and their effect.
The dynamic duo asked their fans and listeners to tell them about the rumors they had been accused of and how the rumor impacted their lives.
The conversation was based on trending allegations that Steve Harvey's wife, Marjorie Elaine Harvey was cheating on him with her bodyguard.
The infidelity is rumored to have inspired the show's morning conversation.
According to Mike, women are mostly affected by rumors because they listen to something about their man and automatically believe it is true claiming that the man is already cheating.
Mondo admitted that he was once the center of a rumor and was shocked because of the rumors that were made against him, he couldn't believe that he could do something like that.
A caller chipped in on the conversation by saying she was accused of murdering the husband and joining the Illuminati group.
"Back in 2015 my husband died and I was accused of murdering him na nimeingia Illuminati hizo rumours zilinihurt hadi was leo"
Another caller said
"Back nikiishi ghetto, nilikuwa the first personkuchora tattoo ghetto mzima, watu wakasema mimi ni Illuminati , dem nilikuwa nataka kumuoa aliniacha juu mamake alikata aolewe na mtu wa tattoo."
Another said he was accused of killing the cousin and in reality, he and the family decided to take the cousin to a rehab center because she was a drug addict and they were trying to help her.
The caller said he had a very big problem in trying to explain the real situation of what was happening yet no one wanted to believe claiming it's a lame reason he should accept he is a murderer.
Some others called and said "I was accused of killing my husband yet he died of Ukimwi, the rumor spread that mimi na familia yangu yote ikona Ukimwi na ni mimi nilimpatia hiyo ugonjwa. Mike nilitaka kujia kama sio kuenda counselling ningekekuwa nimekufa."
