Nominated senator Karen Nyamu has called out a fan who had the nerve to try to call her out over her famous or infamous (depending on whom you ask) relationship with Samidoh Muchoki.

The attack happened after she had celebrated world record holder Faith Kipyegon for her gold-medal-winning performance at the ongoing world championships in the women's 1500m race.

"The G.O.A.T! First gold for Kenya in Budapest championships," the mom of 3 wrote.

But as is the norm with many of her posts, the politician was criticised by a section of the commentators still salty over her relationship with the Mugithi musician.

One female lady in particular took shots by saying that while some people busy chasing gold, Karen was busy chasing Samidoh for the physical intimacy.

"People are chasing gold, halafu kuna wewe chasing cassava ya Thamweli see your life."

But Karen didn't get to where she is without developing a thick skin and an even wittier tongue. The trained advocate cheekily responded by agreeing and amplifying.

"My 'gold' I already have. Cassava ndio sikuwa nayo."

Wow! How can you really shame someone who can't be shamed!?

Karen's response comes at a time when the couple seems to be in a great place relationship-wise with no scandals emerging.

The only potential issue is what happens between Samidoh and his first wife Edday Nderitu who has been in the United States for the past few months.

The musician has intimated in a song he released last week that he wanted them to get back together.

He has been estranged from her with the mom of his 3 kids stating in the past that she wouldn't participate in a polygamous family.

So how will it go? That is anybody's guess.
