"I will be attempting to break Hilda Baci's record in November," Chef Maliha Mohammed says.

During an interview with Chito and Kwambox on the Morning Kiss, The former Guinness world record holder says that she will attempt to break Chef Hilda's record for the longest cooking marathon.

In the interview, she also breaks down what the process felt like.

Kwamboka asks her what started aching first during the cook-a-thon.

"I had some leg cramps, heal spurs, due to standing for long hours the body wants some sleep and the mind wants to keep going. but I told myself that it's not over until it's over,"  the Kenyan chef says.

After the cooking was over she had fatigue, swelled legs and she could barely walk due to standing for long hours.

The Chef also confessed that she was hallucinating when she was cooking and that she told her managers to keep on talking to her so that she could stay alert.

"I told my team that I might end up hallucinating and lose focus, I told them that they should make some noise and keep an eye on me so that I can stay alert. When the musicians came to support me and they sang I was hallucinating that I was in a concert," Chef Maliha continued.

The 39-year-old Chef also gave us a piece of what it was like on the ground including the rest breaks and how she used her breaks after Chito asked a question that Kenyans are most curious about.

Chito asks, "93 hours no sleep?

She reveals the rules and guidelines for breaking the record, after every 12 hours of cooking there is a 1-hour break.

"After every 12 hours of cooking, according to the rules and guidelines, I went for an hour break, took a 30-minute power nap, and 30 minutes to get ready; take a shower and get ready for the next round. My supervisor was there to wake me up after the 30 minutes and help me get ready," She says.

Kwambox goes on and asks her what's next for her now that we are waiting for approval from Guinness world records.

Chef Mohammed answers, "Watu wanadhani sasa imeisha napumzika, lakini November I will be attempting to break Hilda Baci's record."

Which translates to; "people think that now I am done but in November I will be attempting to break Hilda Baci's record."

She finalizes the interview by advising the young people who feel like they have a passion for cooking and would like to cook..." Passion drives work that gives you good results," Chef Maliha Mohammed.
