Maina and King'ang'i on the Classic 105's morning conversation are in shock with the amount of alcohol Kenyans have been taking predominantly women.

A caller said she drinks the entire weekend.

"I take alcohol from Friday to Sunday. I drink a lot! I start drinking from 6AM."

Mwalimu King'ang'i revealed "Zile mzinga wasichana wanaangusha hii Nairobi ni mingi. Wewe umelemewa yeye bado anaendelea. Na kwanini hawalewi?"

Maina Kageni  questioned "Ladies, what's happening? Are you over drinking?"

The duo went on to talk about the pain of a father who was burying his son due to alcoholism. He painfully told people not to sugar coat the reality "Alcohol is the biggest killer in this country & no one wants to talk about it. We have suffered! But now my son has rested."

Kageni added "Have we turned to functioning alcoholics? Are we talking about it enough."

Another caller said that he drinks a lot but urged people for focus on creating a good future for themselves.

"Maina, I drink even 10k to 20K naezatoka hata saa kumi. As much as we talk about alcohol, you have to balance and see the future. One thing I like about ladies, they drink because of joy and because they have the money. Men say they drink because of stress."
