• The Ugandan singer has achieved most of his life goals.

Ugandan legendary singer Jose Chameleone has achieved most of his life goals, including recently getting a degree.

Addressing the media, Chameleone said he did not want to die illiterate, hence furthering his education. The Valu Valu hitmaker graduated from Cavendish University with a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy.

Chameleone told the media he was not boasting about his education.

"Please don’t involve me in battles I will not manage. I am only an artist who had added a level to my education, that’s enough. I don’t want to be involved in discussions about academic achievements. That’s not my business.

I went back to school for many reasons and one of those is that I did not want to die an illiterate. My media people, help and disassociate me from such narratives. I did not go to school to boast, this was my personal business, not for competition."

After his graduation last week, the singer thanked everyone that had made it possible for it to happen.

"Fellow graduates Cavendish University, Today marks an important transition in all our lives. We are stepping out of our familiar routines we are headed into a world filled with endless possibilities. To all of you that have made this achievement possible, to all of you who have supported me along the way, I extend my deepest gratitude.

Cavendish University thank you for providing me and all of us from different nationalities and faculties with an environment that has nurtured our growth - to push us beyond our limits," he captioned.

"We can achieve greatness if we work hard towards it. Congratulations, Class of 2023! May we go forth from this day with hearts full of hope, minds filled with determination, and a burning desire to make our dreams a reality. Our Diplomatic journey has just begun."
