Eric Omondi announces passing of baby Pyden

Announcing the news on his Instagram page, Omondi said Pyden was a fighter and a strong baby.

Eric Omondi has announced the death of baby Pyden Mudoga. He was a one month year-old boy who succumbed to a cancerous tumour in the Jaw.

Announcing the news on his Instagram page, Omondi said Pyden was a fighter and a strong baby. Omondi said receiving the news was sad and that 'Still part of me felt peace because he was in pain, morning to evening. I felt like has has rested. That kind of pain is too much for a baby. He is in a better place."

In the caption, he wrote;

We have lost baby Pyden. Pyden was a very Strong Baby...He fought a good fight. He ran his race. In the short time that he lived, he taught me great lessons. He taught Resilience. He has rested. We will remember him as a Legend. We will Celebrate his life. We will send him off as a PRINCE. May God give him rest. We will not lose hope, we will bury him as a soldier with our heads high. Once again Thank you to ALL who Contributed. We shall Continue.

Previously, Omondi had urged Kenyans to come out and help the baby to get medical help.

"Today we Transferred Baby Pyden to an Advanced Facility. First and Foremost I would like to say a BIG GOD BLESS YOU and THANK YOU to everyone who contributed Anything🙏🙏🙏🙏Baby Payden is a long term Patient and we will still need you to walk this Journey with Him. He will be fine, that's our Prayer. We will walk the Journey together until we see Baby Pyden out of Danger and living his best life..We will Constantly keep you UPDATED." He said at the time

Omondi went live on Instagram to ask for help to raise the money and help the family as well.

"This is baby Pyden Mudoga, he is only one month old. I have visited him several times in the hospital and Everytime I find him crying, he has a cancerous tumour in the Jaw and is constantly in pain. WE MUST STOP the pain. This is his mother, Magdalene Khamisi, a very strong woman. Tonight from 8pm to 12am I'll be raising money for the baby and mother on all my social media platforms.
