Tributes for the late Dj Babu continue to pour in, after he was laid to rest Friday, August 11. Friends and family eulogized the late mixmaster as his casket was lowered at his Muranga home.
He was noted as among entertainers who did a lot to push the East African entertainment scene abroad.
He was also said to be a man who kept his word. Kenyan DJs, artists, and MCs have been holding events prior to his burial to pay tribute to one of their own.
Businesswoman Amira was among those at the burial and shared the events of his burial. A banner read "Always loved never forgotten forever missed".
